Uganda Safari

Safari and Itineraries

Uganda national parks are almost all located in the East African Rift Valley except for Kidepo Valley and Mount Elgon National Park. The East African Rift Valley is what divides Uganda from DR Congo, and East African grasslands from the tropical forests of West Africa. The border is marked by the Blue Mountains of the north and the Rwenzoris of the central stretch. The tailor-made safaris we organize in Uganda includes popular destinations, which provide once in a lifetime experiences such as mountain gorilla tracking in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park. Raft the Nile in Jinja, experience the source of the Nile on either a grade 5 white water rafting trip, or a leisure boat trip on the Nile. A tour with Nkuringo Safaris may also take you to Murchison Falls National Park, Kidepo Valley National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, and Queen Elizabeth National Park. Murchison Falls is where the Nile bursts through a narrow gorge and chutes down to become a placid river whose banks are swamped with hippo and crocodile, waterbuck and buffalo. Queen Elizabeth National Park nurtures healthy populations of elephant, lion, hippo, and other larger mammals and a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel gets you closer to the wildlife.
